Join Us for a Celebrated Tradition


The Seagrove Pottery Festival, North Carolina’s oldest and best known celebration of handmade pottery, is returning for its 42nd year! This year's festival promises to be the biggest and best yet, taking place on Saturday, November 23rd, and Sunday, November 24th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Hosted by the Museum of NC Traditional Pottery, we owe our longstanding success to the dedication and support of our community, participants, and visitors.

General Information for All Vendors

Application Deadline: August 1st, 2024.


Booth Fees:


Booth fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Checks will be deposited upon acceptance into the festival.


Artisans and Potters: Single Side/Center Booth ($300.00 Exhibit Fee)

Double Side/Center Booth ($600.00 Exhibit Fee)

Important Notice:

Artists and vendors may not arrive at the school until after 4:00 PM on Friday, November 22nd. The school must have time to clear all students and faculty from the property before the festival setup.


Exhibit Regulations:

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside the tent and gym.


No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the school grounds. Any wine bottles displayed in wine coolers must be empty.


"Reduced Price" items or "Sale" signs are prohibited.


All trash must be bagged and placed in designated areas during and after the festival. Noncompliance can lead to a ban from future shows.


Violation of rules, willful misrepresentation of substantial facts, and/or disruptive behavior at the festival will result in removal from the festival and exclusion from future events sponsored by the Museum of North Carolina Traditional Pottery.


Artisan and Potter Vendor Information

Booth Location and Setup

Booths will be located in a large, heated tent on the ballfield and inside the gym of the school.


Each booth will include electrical access. Heavy-duty drop cords should be used for lighting purposes only.


Heaters, crock pots, or any heating units are not permitted.

Exhibits must be set up and ready to open by 8:30 AM on Saturday.


Artists must be in their booth during both days of the festival and must not pack up before 5:00 PM on Sunday.


Exhibit Regulations


No mass-produced, pressed, jiggered, or slipcast ceramics are allowed. Commercial products or other resale items are also prohibited.

All work must be made on the premises of the participating potter only. Nonparticipating potters cannot sell or display their wares in the booth of a participating potter.


Booth locations cannot be requested. We will try to accommodate previous participants in the same booth, but spaces are not guaranteed.

Participation is by invitation only, with priority given to North Carolina potters, followed by out-of-state potters, and other handmade craft artisans as space allows.


New Participants

If you did not participate in last year's show, please include three pictures of your work and one picture of your booth setup with your application.

Hawking and incessant yelling are not permitted.
